Job Description
Softius Internet Services is hiring for the role of Java Developer Intern!
Responsibilities of the Intern:
- Assist in the development of Java-based applications.
- Work closely with senior developers to write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
- Participate in debugging, testing, and troubleshooting application issues.
- Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Learn and implement best practices in software development.
- Develop and maintain Java applications, APIs, and backend services.
- Write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure application reliability.
- Support integration with databases, third-party services, and cloud platforms.
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions for improving development processes.
- Document technical specifications and project progress.
- Stay updated with Java technologies and frameworks.
Requirements:
- Prior internship or project experience in Java development is a plus
- Education: Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Java, OOP concepts, and data structures.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, or other Java frameworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience with frontend technologies (React, Angular, or JavaScript) is a plus.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is beneficial.
